Nick Hogan Wrestling Career? Hulk Hogan’s Son Teases Ring Return After Selfie

Could we see Nick Hogan following in his legendary father Hulk Hogan’s footsteps and stepping into the squared circle? A recent photo and a cryptic comment have wrestling fans buzzing!

“You Never Know”: Nick Hogan Hints at Potential Wrestling Future

Months after the passing of his iconic father, Hulk Hogan, Nick Hogan has sparked speculation about a potential wrestling career of his own. A recent social media post has sent the wrestling world into overdrive.

Nick posted a photo of himself with NWA star Byron Idol right outside a wrestling ring. The caption? Nothing specific, but the location and timing have fans wondering if he’s seriously considering lacing up the boots.

Staying Close to the Legacy

Following Hulk Hogan’s death in July, at the age of 71, Nick has been seen at several WWE events. He told TMZ Sports that being around the wrestling business “makes me feel so much closer to Dad.” It’s clear the sport holds a special place in his heart, especially now.

What Did Nick Hogan Actually Say About Wrestling?

When directly asked about the possibility of entering the wrestling world, Nick didn’t offer a definitive “no.” In fact, he left the door wide open!

“You never know, man. It’s in the blood. So, you never know,” he stated. “I’m in pretty good shape right now. I’m cool. Not saying too much, but trying to stay in shape. We’ll see what happens. Never hurts to drop the leg here and there,” he added, referencing his father’s signature finishing move, the leg drop.

The Legacy of Hulk Hogan: A Wrestling Icon

Hulk Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, was a true wrestling phenomenon. He captivated audiences for decades, becoming the face of the then-World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and a household name. He was a multiple-time world champion and a two-time WWE Hall of Fame inductee – once in 2005 and again in 2020 as part of the New World Order (nWo).

Beyond his in-ring accomplishments, Hulk Hogan was a cultural icon. His charisma and “Hulkamania” transformed wrestling into a mainstream spectacle.

Remembering Hulk Hogan: A Champion On and Off Screen

Hulk Hogan’s passing was met with an outpouring of grief and tributes from across the sports and entertainment world. WWE honored him with a 10-bell salute on “SmackDown!”

In addition to his wrestling career, Hogan ventured into acting and business. He even founded Real American Beer in 2024, named after his iconic entrance theme. In April 2025, he established Real American Freestyle, his own wrestling promotion, showing his continued passion for the sport.

His final WWE appearance was in January 2025 in Los Angeles.

Hulk Hogan’s Health Battles

Hulk Hogan battled several health issues in his later years, including atrial fibrillation and chronic lymphocytic leukemia. His cause of death was a heart attack. His widow, Sky Daily Hogan, had previously refuted reports of a health crisis weeks before his passing, stating he was “strong” and recovering from surgeries.

Will We See Nick Hogan in the Ring?

The question remains: will Nick Hogan actually pursue a wrestling career? His recent comments and connection to the wrestling world, combined with his family legacy, certainly make it a possibility. Only time will tell if we’ll see Nick Hogan dropping the leg and carrying on the Hogan name in the world of professional wrestling!
